Judy was born and raised in New York City.
She has been an artist all her life.
At the progressive Walden School in NYC, she drew and painted constantly. She went on to create paintings for children’s rooms and then limited edition relief prints with inkless intaglio. Currently, she paints Landscapes/landshapes oil on wood.
Throughout her career Judy has won numerous awards and exhibited widely in both solo and group exhibitions. Her work is represented in hospitals, colleges, museums, corporate and private collections. She has received many commissions and tributes for nonprofit organizations and religious institutions, including a boxed set of notecards for UNICEF.
She is listed in Who’s Who in American Art and Who’s Who in American Women. For 27 years, she was an active docent at the Newark Museum of Art, served on the visiting committee of the Smith College Museum of Art and the Art Committee of the Montclair Museum of Art.
Judy is a 1953 graduate of Smith College and attended graduate studio art classes at Newark Rutgers.
She lives and works in South Orange, NJ.
